Question / Help frame dropping/memory leak

Hi,

Looks to me bandwidth related, has your ISP had some issues recently given this has only just started?

The twitch test is showing quality 0 and the obs logs are showing multiple "Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 522 (15.0%)"

Also in the first log it has "Output 'simple_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 4070466111 (112.3%)", but i would concentrate on the bandwidth and as this was only present in the first log.

i did apparently have some connection with them recently which was making my connection not stable, but i had contacted them for that already and as far as i can tell it has been resolved cause speedtest is now pretty stable with its results. i could try to contact them again if you would recommend that, my connection to everything else seems fine otherwise, just sudden frame-drops recently. thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

No problem, it could be the router or a few other things if you aren't directly connected maybe via a switch, but usually its the ISP who wont admit it.

Try just running some monitoring as you might not notice the drops from normal surfing or watching videos as they can buffer / cache to data, were your stream needs a constant upload with no drops or blips.

Most speedtests are not reliable tests of connection quality. If the Twitch Bandwidth Test shows 0 quality, then you should examine your network configuration (router, modem, cables, hardware, software, firmware, etc.) and probably call your ISP and tell them that the service they're providing is not suitable for your needs and you need it examined.
