Question / Help Frame dropping 30-50% consistently this last week

So 2 weeks ago I was streaming perfectly fine at 2700 bitrate and downscaled to 720p. No problems.

This week, however, suddenly everything is bad! I do my speed tests and they vary WILDLY! When things are perfect I got ~180mbps download and ~15-20mbps upload. But now I speed test and get 60 download and 2 upload. I'll speed test again right after and get 130 download and 5 upload. Again and I'll get perfect numbers. Then down again.

Changing my bitrate doesn't seem to matter. I went down to 2100 bitrate for my SF5 tournament last night and consistently dropped 15-30% of my frames.

I'm wired to a new modem + router combination, it's 3 feet from my PC. My ethernet adapter is motherboard integrated Intel I-218V.

Anyone able to tell me what could cause this or what to do about it? It's really driving me insane.

Yea I've read all of that. The only thing I haven't tried is broadcasting to another service. But if my speed test itself is varying wildly, I don't think Twitch would be impacting that. :(

Okay well I did all of these things, and still consistently dropping 30% of my frames. Bitrate doesn't matter. I tried at 3000, 2700, 2400, 2100, and 1100. Even at 1100 I was dropping 30% of my frames.

Again, like I said, all last year I broadcasted at 3000 bitrate with no problems.

I tried streaming to Twitch, B.net, and Hitbox. Twitch was the worst, B.net was perfect, and Hitbox was only a little better than Twitch.

Does that mean anything to anyone?

this is happening to me aswell same scenarios, did your isp change to spectrum recently and do you live in the tampa bay area by chance? see if we can narrow this down to the isp. If its not the ISP its gotta be something with the obs client itself cause ive done everything in the past few days to try and figure it out.

Last option:

Use RESTREAM.IO
I mean stream to restream.io and then they resend to Twitch, Youtube and more at the same time.
