I decided to use OBS as my game capture software and I want my video to be on 1080p 60FPS. However I noticed a problem with the recording, theres seems to be some lag and there was a bit when I was playing and recording also.

(a link to what it looks like when recording)

My laptops Specs are:

Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M

I went on YouTube and found those ''best settings'' videos and used those and if necessary I have my log below.

Thank you very much!

Try turning on VSync in game.

Also never use CBR for local recordings, use VBR. If you want you can get even much better quality using CQP with CQP set to around 16. (Lower the number the higher qualiy and higher file size. Higher the number the lower the quality but the lower file size). These settings are pretty great.

In some games you might have a problem recording in 1080p60 and might want to go down to 720p60. Laptops sadly just aren't quite as powerful as desktops. Turning VSync on should help.

If you are still getting a bit of frame drop upload another log but this time using VSync.
