Question / Help FPS stutter geting gradually worse in the preview of game capture.

Hello.

First of all, I've been lurking for a while but I honnestly cannot find the answer to my problem despite having googled it a lot and trying everything I could find.


Let me give you context. My setup is a bit old-ish but was functionnal in october last year and in 2017 (I used to stream sporadically). I stream from PS4/Switch with a Live Gamer Portable external capture device. The issue I have is that the game capture in the preview (so even BEFORE I stream or record) stutters heavily. It can get to a point where it looks like a slideshow.

What I've tried so far? Pretty much changing all the settings either under video or output (and then I ran the auto-config wizard) . Updating my video card drivers, installing an older version of OBS. Been at it for days now I really need help.

Can anyone help me?
Here's the current log of me not even streaming/recording while playing the switch and my preview FPS is dipping like crazy somehow.
I've tried debugging by myself for almost a week and I got nothing.

So, okay.

When I remove my webcam from the scene it's fixed.

I would really like my webcam to be there, though. I dropped the resolution to 800x600 and it's still no good. Anyone got an idea?
