Question / Help FPS Output Counter?

Hey!

Sorry if this has been addressed, but I've recently switched to Multi-Platform after using OBS (v1) for years. I've found everything to be in order, for the most part, except for the fact that there appears to be no FPS counter??

In OBS v1 there was a counter in the bottom right that said if your stream was lagging via an FPS counter, so I could visibly see if my streams FPS was dipping below what I set it at.

now It appears there is only a CPU %, which i greatly welcome, doesn't solve the issue that when people say my stream is dropping frames, but if my CPU % isn't maxed out, im not sure that i'm actually missing frames.

am i missing something or has this just not been added yet?

Thanks!

Dropped frames are from upload issues

Skipped Frames are from high encoder CPU usage, doesn't need to be maxed out to skip frames.

Are you dropping frames or skipping frames? Your log will tell you.

If you know your are skipping frames then your CPU preset is too high for your current resolution, FPS and whatever game combined

yeah I'm aware of how it all works, but all im saying is shouldn't there be something on my screen keeping me aware of my skipping frames?

i shouldn't need to check logs afterwards to see that I was having issues.
