Question / Help FPS issues all of a sudden

Hi everyone,

I need to get some help on an issue I've been having. For the last couple of days while streaming I would experience some dropped frames. It seemed to always be around the 1.2% of the total amount of frames being dropped throughout the stream. it's not that much, but it was still annoying. Today has just topped the annoying factor and it's continues dropped frames no matter what server I pick from. Now I've contacted my ISP and there has been no drops in the network and I'm holding a consistent download of 240mbps and upload of 17mbps. My PC is not struggling in any way, but yet I'm still experiencing these frame drops.

Did the new Windows update that happened a week or so ago change anything in relation to OBS or Windows that would correlate to this issue? The reason I ask is because I've done NO changes to the PC at all and I've gone from no dropped frames during a 3 hr stream so now consistent dropped frames.

Any assistance is well appreciated. I've never had to post a help post but I'm lost on what to do.

Thank you.

Dropped frames/disconnecting/lag? Read this first!

Seriously, that thread has all the advice in it already that can be provided. If you post a log file, there may be something specific that you're encountering that could point to a root cause... but it's very unlikely.

What ISP/service type? What service are you trying to stream to?
I have gone through that article. One thing I noticed is that port 1935 is closed for me, but I'll make sure to really look through it and go through everything.

ISP is Teksavvy, and streaming to twitch. Again this issue was not a problem until i believe the Windows update hit. But it's been a few days and I can't roll back anymore.

But thank you for responding
