Question / Help FPS drops with NVENC/Quicksync, just opening OBS Studio

I'm using a 2 PC setup with RTMP server, so no capture card. Running OBS Studio on the computer I stream from. I stream 25000 bitrate NVENC or quicksync (same results) to the streaming server.

Gaming computer
CPU i7 6700K
RAM 16GB HyperX Fury DDR4-2666
MOBO ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
HDD Samsung 840 EVO 250GB
GFX ASUS STRIX GTX 1070 8GB

Streaming server
HP Z600 Workstation
2x X5650 24 threads 3.06 GHz
20 GB DDR3

My problem is following:
I get FPS drops just having OBS Studio open, preview or no proview doesnt matter. I get a roughly 10-20% drop in framrates in both CS and H1Z1. As soon as I open OBS, the framerate drops. I know there are some background processes, but according to OBS UI, it only takes up ~2% CPU, so it shouldn't affect my FPS by up to 20%, even if my game is CPU limited.

Do we agree on this?

Additionally I also get some micro stutters, when running OBS that I don't get while playing the game normally.

Any suggestions on how to fix these problems?

Any additional information you need about the setup or settings, just ask.

Turning off multi-adapter compability seems to relieve some of the problems I have.
Although CS:GO for an example will still run weird, unless I go into single monitor mode. Feels like its running 60 hz more than the 144 its supposed to. Any ideas on how to fix this?
