Question / Help Fps drops when running on geforce now fortnite

I am trying to get the best quality of recording fortnite using geforce now but when I play my fps drops from 60 to below 30 on obs using simple output

Manually update OBS, you're not on the latest.

There's no recording session in the log, meaning there's no performance data to look at.

If your machine's GPU is weak enough that you need to use a service like GeForce Now to play Fortnite, then running OBS is going to be problematic as well. It's possible that you need to turn the game down to 30fps in order for OBS to have enough GPU resources to work. A logfile of an actual recording session would indicate if this is the case or not.

Still no recording session in the log. You need to start, run til issue observed, then stop and then upload the log. Before uploading check that there are entries for the starting and stopping of streaming/recording (whichever you're doing).

You are overloading both your GPU and your CPU-- your CPU even on ultrafast settings your CPU is overloaded, and your integrated GPU is too weak to use for 720p60 without lagging. Your best bet would probably be to drop your framerate to 30fps.
