Question / Help FPS drop when trying to stream LoL

Hi all,

I’ve been trying to stream LoL properly for about 3 months now; adjusted the majority of the configurations to find the most optimal way but I cannot seem to get it to work properly.

Whenever I just play the game my FPS is around 150 - 200.
Whenever I try to stream it drops between 50 - 70 and severely slowing my gameplay. I don’t find it enjoyable to then stream. I’ve tried to change the bitrate, compression type and format but nothing works.

Anybody an idea?

OBS needs to use the GPU to run. You won't be able to play a game at the same framerate while streaming as you can without streaming, it doesn't work that way. If you want to do that, you need a 2 PC setup with a capture card.

That said, there might be something else going wrong. Please do a session where you see the problem and post a log.
