64 GB Mem
AMD FirePro D300 2 GB Graphics Mem
3.7 GHz Quad-Core Xenon E5
Catalina 10.15.7
Camera: Canon Rebel T5i
Audio: Condensor USB Mic

So I'm trying to start recording a play through of Subnautica: Below Zero. Before I boot the game in Steam, I have 60fps and everything is smooth, less than 0.4% CPU usage. After I boot Subnautica, my FPS drops to 10-12fps max, CPU usage is still 8-10% max in OBS. No other apps running, dropped recording quality to as low as possible, no change, removed literally every source and just had the game running, and no change. Don't know what else to do at this point, as I can't record at that low FPS, not even worth my time at that point. Anyone have a solution?
