Question / Help FPS drop in OPENGL game when using OBS

Playing games in 2560x1440 Obs rescale output 1920x1080 also 1920x1080 Base and Output

Playing PUBG I have minimal if any IN-game FPS change when running OBS

Playing Exanima (anOPENGL game) I have a HUGE drop in fps from 135 w/o OBS open to 19 w/ OBS open.

I have tried tweaking and adjusting my video and output settings and I just cannot find any way to get theta in-game FPS back.

Exanima is the only one with this issue of my games and AFAIK the only OPENgl game I have.
 
I have tried setting native resolution on ym main monitor back down to 1080, still no change, something in OBS i throttling the opengl game, Ive tried all diff downscale and ratio changes, all to no avail.
 
Well had to force stuidio to give me OPENGL render. Now my FPS does not drop.

obs64.exe --allow-opengl did not work to put it in shortcuts for some reason. Had to do it cmd line. then able to choose Opengl as my renderer. Able to run OBS from normal shortcut after that
