My wife and I like to play Fortnite together in the same room. I am on a Pc and she is on a Switch. She has a gaming headset with a mic and I have a proper usb mic setup.
When I record My mic comes in nice and clean and I have a noise gate and other filters to limit the background noise when she is talking. But she doesn't have such a setting on the switch. I was wondering if there is a good way to try and rout the chat output in fortnite to a different output that is separate from the game audio?
I have a usb mic and a wired headset. I even added an extension cable that came with her headset that splits the mic and headphones so it can be used with a PC onto my PC just to add another output option. I am also using the audio capture plugin to split up my audio on my computer more so I can have Discord, game, and other audio split easier.
Just trying to remove the back echo of my voice coming through her mic and back into my recording. I don't hear myself on her mic when I have my headphones on and am taling but I do hear the echo in the final recording.
