RuneScape has a new client in beta testing, which I would like to stream/record, etc using Game Capture, since I should be using it and you guys preach using it so much. ;)
The new client has two running processes: a launcher/wrapper (RuneScape.exe), and the game itself which runs inside / along side the launcher (rs2client.exe).
OBS does not detect the game process at all, but properly detects the launcher and successfully attempts to hook into the launcher.
Only the launchers process is selectable in the game capture settings and when trying to capture a fullscreen app, it just hooks into the launchers process.
The problem is, the launcher isn't the process rendering the game of course... So there is just a black screen.
Is there any way to force OBS to properly hook into the process that is actually rendering the game, or at least get OBS to detect the correct process. I would like Game Capture to hook into rs2client.exe instead of RuneScape.exe.
Both apps and OBS run as an administrator and on the NVIDIA GPU.
