Question / Help Force Constant Frame Rate (Fixed Frame Rate) using Quicksync in OBS Studio

Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to force CFR when using the quicksync encoder to record locally. I want to be able to edit the files in Adobe Premiere without having to convert in something like Handbrake. When I've tried various options under quicksync I get out of sync video audio in Premiere. With h.264 and VFR unselected I do not have this problem.

I thought I saw a CFR checkbox under Advance in OBS classic but is there a way to do this in Studio?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

That doesn't seem to be the case. There is no box to check to enable VFR and the videos produced do not view correctly in Adobe Premiere.

The .not video files get out of sync with audio, which doesn't happen when played outside of Premiere. .mov fills the audio stays in sync but the video has significant artifacting.

Using handbrake encoding on the file with CFR enabled then corrects this behavior in Premiere
