Flickering during scene transition

I have created a scene whose top layer is an image from another display. That display capture layer includes a chroma key filter to remove all the green, which at times can be nearly the entire display. The second layer in the scene is a video capture source that for the sake of argument might be a webcam. When I switch to the just described scene I will frequently see a very brief flash of green as the display capture is displayed but before the Chroma key is applied. I'm wondering if there is a way to briefly hide the display capture until the chroma key has had a chance to process the display and then unhide (show) that source.
