When I close obs normally (with the upper right close button), it looks to close normally. Then when starting it up afterward, I always get a popup asking me if I want to open normally or in safe mode.
It has happens from a long time… but I wasn’t bothered enough to connect here and post an issue. -> Not specific to that version
But I have an extra bit of info: since I just updated to 30.2.0, the first start after the update did not showed me the popup, I saw the "what’s new in this release popup and closed it. But then twitch’s docks where not visible, obs did not want to open the parameter’s window nor quit. I had to `killall obs`. And after that the next start had the "safe mode popup" and twitch docks were back, parameter and quit button works.
But now each time I start obs I still have the "safe mode popup".
