Hi there,
so I got a "decent" PC now (RTX 2070, i7 9700) and OBS still doesn't want to play nice.
Game I was trying to record was Neptunia Shooter, a little game that shouldn't require any computing power at all.
I've already disabled all win10 gaming related settings.
Tried dozens of different settings in OBS.
Here's the latest, especially interesting case: The third-last capture (19:24:47.808) went smooth, as good as no frame drops. The second-last capture has only a picture instead of video for the first half of the recording. The last recording was just a picture. 0 fps.
I have no clue what causes the random behavior.
I've tried to figure it out for hours now, but I'm not that good at tech. So here's the log, I need help :-(
Edit: Important addition. I just tried to capture another game, Nier Automata on high settings, which surprisingly worked absolutely flawless. Smooth 60fps, no drops. Could it be that OBS has problems capturing windowed games? Neptunia Shooter has no fullscreen, that's the only thing I can think of.
