Question / Help fixed halfway

Hey guys I recently downloaded OBS and it was working for a little, then it stopped today. I was getting the black screen when I tried to do game capture and nothing would record. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. But then I ran it as an admin and after that I could record the game but it would still not record my microphone. I watched JackFrags video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svrpFWMkmd0) about setting OBS up and I did everything he did, but OBS still does not record my microphone. I have a Blue Snowball if that makes a difference. If anyone can help with this I would be very grateful.

Sincerely,
Aaron S.

The one that comes with windows... And btw I didn't change anything but now it isn't recording the screen... When i was trying to uninstall it before it would say it couldnt because of the "graphics-hook64.dll" was being used by something else. If something else is using this would I not be able to record the screen and audio?

Reboot your computer, reinstall obs studio
DO NOT LAUNCH OBS STUDIO UNTIL AFTER THE REINSTALL IS DONE
Use VLC to play your recordings, windows media player (and films & tv) have a LONG history of bad media format support.

No you don't.
alright so just to be 100% sure I do this right. I restart my computer. Go to obsproject.com install obs studio like normal. Launch OBS when it is done installing and set it up like JackFrags did in his video and everything should be good. And when I make a video, use VLC to play it back.
