Fix for recovery of lost RTSP streams?

Still am unable to recover from a lost RTSP stream. Any plans to fix this? I've tried the "Close File when inactive" which doesn't work - It never comes back and it never closes when it looses it.

Would be great to maybe if RTSP is lost, replace that whole assigned box size with a pattern to indicate lost signal, then when rtsp comes back, it returns. so:

If signal lost > put up LOST GRAPHIC
while LOST GRAPHIC poll for RTSP Address every second till found
If found, reset it back and loose the LOST GRAPHIC ,etc.

So very interesting development:
RTSP Stream from a streaming device (Epiphan Pearl 1): Reboot Pearl in middle of stream = Stream vanishes in OBS and never comes back
RTSP Stream from a streaming device (Epiphan Pearl 1): Pull network cord and put back in middle of stream = Stream image on OBS freeze and never recovers.

RTSP Stream from a streaming device (Epiphan Pearl 2): Reboot Pearl in middle of stream = Stream vanishes in OBS but returns on reboot

HTTP TS Stream from Pearl 1 to OBS however on REBOOT looses image but then DOES recover and image returns YET...
HTTP TS Stream from Pearl 1 to OBS when network cable is pulled and the image still freezes and NEVER RECOVERS...

I think OBS needs to incorporate a proper TIMEOUT in their stream monitoring instead of what feels like expecting a proper close handshake?
