Question / Help Fix for Avermedia LGP audio lag desync. Help

I use to never have this issue but recently I have started having out of sync problems on the LGP. I have an Avermedia LGP and when I start a stream it starts off in sync however normally around 1 to 2 hours the audio is not in sync with the video anymore (normally out of sync by 1-2 secs)

On OBS I had the LGP set to source video capture device and on properties "avermedia c875 capture" so it was direct and there was lag. When I changed it and set the properties to "LGP stream engine" there was no lag from what my viewers told me. However, I am not sure if it will stay constant or not. So I dont know if that was a fix or perhaps resetting the device when changing to that on the properties only temporally fixed the audio delay



If anyone knows a definite fix for the AVERMEDIA LGP audio out of sync please let me know. Thanks

Have never had much success with my capture card through OBS. Tried it the other day with 18.0.1, though, after seeing the supposed audio fix. I don't know about "over time", but I also had a few seconds sound delay.

The LGP has known issues with audio timing that OBS tries to deal with when it's added directly as a source (i.e. not via Stream Engine). If Stream Engine works then stick with that.
