Question / Help First startup: Unknown error

Hi there,
on first startup of OBS studio (64) I get the following message:

Failed to initialize video: Unspecified error.

No way to set options from there or creating a log it seems. What can I do?

System: Win7 64 pro, ATI Radeon video card

Both tested with the current version and the newest beta built.

Your video card is most likely too old to support OBS. Which leads me to think that the rest of your system might also be a bit too dated.

Thanks ThoNohT for chiming in.
It is an audio studio computer that does the job so far. I inserted the simplest fan-less audio card. The rest is i7-920 @ 3.9 gHz, Gigabyte board EX58-UD3R, 16 GB DDR3. Do you think the rest of the system is too dated for OBS or would it suffice to swap the video card? Any recommendations?
