Comp Specs:
Alienware Aurora R5
Windows 10 (64-bit)
Intel Core i7-6700 3.40GHz
16 GB Mem
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
I'm running 4 cameras for security recording in my room. (15' x 20')
Each camera takes a quadrant of the screen in OBS, so I can record and view all 4 cameras at once.
Cameras are 2-Logitech 920 and 2-Genius F100
I noticed that the Genius F100 motion seem blurry even when run at "Highest FPS" setting and even tried hard setting the FPS to 30.
1) If I set the resolution of the camera's to 864 x 480 then resize the feed using the "red grab outline box" does it alter the resolution?
When I set it to a lower res and stretch the feed to fit, or set it to 720p and shrink the feed to fit, it doesn't seem to make a difference in the recording.
2) If I set all camera's to 720p, OBS crashes and reboots the computer (I understand that you shouldn't do this.)
But does it make a difference if I set the resolution to the cameras to 860 x 480 and the output to 1080p or even 720p?
(I'm a smidge bit confused about this.)
Thanks in Advance
