Failure to launch

Software says it's already running. I've tried everything that I know to allow me to start OBS. Is there a fix for this with Windows 10?

try reinstalling it

if that doesn't work, try installing an older version and updating it or something similar

I did what the link suggested and still get same response. NO JOY.
It was working fine earlier today.

if your computer has very outdated hardware (like my old PC) it can takes a few minutes for OBS to start and if you click on it more than once, it will say OBS is already running
