Failed to start recording

I get the following error:

NVENC Error: init_encoder: nvEncGetEncodePresetConfig failed: 15
(NV_ENC_ERR_INVALID_VERSION)

Whenever I try to record. I'm incredibly new to OBS, and not sure why this is happening. I've updated my graphics drivers and I'm confused. (I tried recording this with Xcom 2: War of the Chosen, specifying because I know COD: MW has some issues with this.)

Update your drivers, 388.73 is ancient.

What exactly are my drivers? (I'm not very tech-y.) And how can I update them?

Addendum: Apparently I was right the first time with my drivers. I tried updating them, and after it updated, OBS still said it was outdated. My computer's up to date as well.

The current driver for your GPU is 451.67 as of this writing. Whatever tool you use to check driver versions, it's telling garbage.
Go to the nvidia download site, choose your GPU and download the driver:
