Question / Help Failed to start recording error

First time using OBS. I got the failed to start recording error when I tried to start recording. Here is the log:

I tried the solutions and it doesn't work. Jesus christ, is it so hard to design a program that accepts common GPUs? Fucking useless bastards. Guess I'll go with the free nVidia recording software.

...What are you talking about? Your GPU doesn't support NVENC, OBS supports it just fine. NVENC is a dedicated hardware chip on your NVIDIA GPU, if that chip doesn't exist, how in the heck is OBS supposed to use it?

EDIT: If you change the encoder to x264 or Hardware (QSV) chances are it will work just fine.
