Failed to open video codec. Operation not permitted.

Hello everyone, I made this account because I downloaded OBS, since I wished to record and stream a game with sound.
The issue I have is that, after setting things up, I tried to press start recording, which was followed by this error: An unspecified error occurred while recording. Failed to open video codec. Operation not permitted.
Can anyone please help?

Normally that happens in one of three cases:
1- You're trying to use a hardware encoder, and your GPU doesn't actually support it
2- Your GPU drivers are out of date
3- You're trying to use QSV encoding, and don't have an iGPU or have it disabled in the BIOS

We'd be able to tell which if a log file from a recording attempt was included.
