The full message that I receive is: Failed to initialize video. Your GPU may not be supported, or your graphics drivers may need to be updated.
I realize that this is the same message as posted in other threads, but I have searched and tried, and cannot quite get my OBS Studio to work. Here is my goal: we are a small church, and would like to stream services to Youtube so that immobile people can see it live. The laptop used is an older Dell Inspiron B120. It was running XP, but I have installed Windows 7 32B. I realize that is not much to work with, but it is all that we have at the moment. I updated the video driver to a Win 7 driver. I have viewed multiple Youtube videos that point to the Direct X dxcpl application, and those videos have a place to add program. I installed the Direct X SDK, which has dxcpl, but it does not have that same look as the videos that I have seen. For what it's worth, I am an interface programmer by trade, so I am not afraid to try any suggestions on this machine. I considered Ubuntu 18 LTS as the OS, but wanted to try Windows first. I know that I might run into the same driver issue with Ubuntu on a machine this old. I am so extremely grateful for any advice on getting this to work. The log file is attached.
