This is just a hunch and as I can't recreate your error I can't test it but could you go to the following directory: %appdata%\obs-studio (go to File Explorer and type this in the address bar). You should see a file called global.ini, right click choose rename and call it globalold.ini. Then try to restart OBS MP. Let me know what happens.

Thanks for the try but all it did after I changed the name was ask me to accept the licence and it gave the same error again

OK that's weird I remember there was a problem with earlier versions of OBS when you added a second monitor or did something with your existing monitor setup that broke the position of the main OBS window. What happens if you disconnect your external monitor does OBS start then?

I did play around with the monitor settings beceause it wasnt working the way I wanted it to be. Even after I disconnect the second monitor from my laptop it still gives the same error. I removed OBS and redownloaded it again aswell without the second monitor and still no results. :S

One last thing we could try is to give OBS a completely blank configuration. Go to %appdata% and rename the obs-studio directory to obs-studio-old. Try OBS again and see if that works.

You sir are a god! It actually worked it opens just fine. Ill keep you updated when I connect my second screen again.

OK the problem with that is if you had any settings/scenes configured they will all be gone. Let us know if it works with the second monitor, if it fails when the second monitor is installed just trying renaming the same folder again to give OBS a clear config with both screens plugged in.

I was streaming fine yesterday and when I tried to open it up now an error appeared and it said "Failed to initialize video: Invalid parameters". Can anyone help me with this? I tried the step that worked for DannyHLMO and it didn't work for me.
