Question / Help Failed to init video - Intel Graphics, Ubuntu 14.04/KDE

Getting this error message when trying to start OBS on my system with an intel graphics chip in it:

Are Intel cards currently non-functional on Linux or do I need to change some settings/drivers?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks!
~Jeff

Been informed via IRC that this is a bug in the 0.5.1 build that hopefully will be corrected in the next build:

[19:41] <JeffHoogland> Jim - what requirements might my intel system be short on for running OBS under Linux?
[19:41] <JeffHoogland> Ubuntu 14.04, default drivers currently
[19:42] <@Jim-> ah, that's actually our fault, not your fault
[19:42] <@Jim-> I have to fix it in the next version

This looks like this problem could be similar to the one i just posted however I do want to mention that in my case I am running Dual Graphics Cards Intel is the low end Graphics card and my Nvidia 525M not sure if this user is using one of the new Hybrid systems with this capability.. Just thought i would add my two cents..

I'm having the same problem, posted a thread too. I have Intel graphics and Ubuntu 14.04 as well. It's a known issue, and should be fixed in the next update.
