Failed to create buffer (887A0005)

Hello OBS folks,

I had been using OBS on my old computer for about a year for streaming and recording. No problems. Worked great.

Then, I got a new computer last week. It runs Windows 11. I installed the latest version of OBS - OBS Studio 30.2.2 but it freezes. The program works okay for a few seconds to a minute, then the preview pane gets messed up - preview is half size, I can't move the sources around, and the preview doesn't show the active sources. After that, OBS stops working all together, but doesn't actually crash.

Log shows a lot of:
device_vertexbuffer_create (D3D11): Failed to create buffer (887A0005)
19:51:22.975: Device Removed Reason: 887A0006

I already turned off HAGS and restarted my computer. Didn't help.

My new computer specifications are:
Device name NucBox_K8
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics 3.80 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (28.8 GB usable)
Device ID 51907B41-54C5-4EDF-97A5-3126943BD99B
Product ID 00330-54388-07037-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Any ideas on how to fix this would be much appreciated

Unfortunately "20:22:24.078: Device Remove/Reset! Rebuilding all assets..." log lines indicate your GPU is crashing, either due to bad drivers or faulty hardware. Make sure all drivers are up to date.
