Question / Help Failed to connect? [Twitch/Win7]

Hello everyone,

I've encountered an error for the first time today. Upon executing 'Start Streaming', after about 6-10 seconds of lag, I receive the following error dialog:

Failed to connect
Could not access the specified channel or stream key, please double-check your stream key. If it is correct. there may be a problem connecting to the server.

I've taken the following steps in an attempt to solve:
  • Double-checked stream key, generated a new stream key on Twitch and applied that in OBS Studio
  • Checked Twitch server status websites
  • Changed to various different Twitch servers in the OBS Studio drop-down menu (under Stream sub-category in Settings)
  • System reboot
  • Modem/router reboot
  • Tried starting stream from different origination scenes (in case one of my sources might be having a weird interaction)
  • Starting OBS Studio with "Run as administrator..."
Because I haven't found any indication of many other people having this issue atm, or any apparent server problems, I assume it's something on Twitch's end that is affecting a small percentage of users. I've looked at my OBS Studio logs (as someone who has a limited understanding of their contents) and suspect the following may be relevant:

RTMPSockBuf_Fill, remote host closed connection

System is running Win7 Ult

At any rate, the logs are attached. Any suggestions/insights are appreciated.

EDIT: I've since found this tweet:

I only wish that I had found it one minute before posting here, rather than one minute after. And I've found no delete button here either!
