Question / Help "Failed to connect to server" Streaming to Twitch from China

Hello all. I have been using OBS to stream to Twitch from China - although I cannot myself access Twitch, I've been streaming to Twitch using the Hong Kong server without difficulty for the past couple of months. However, for the last two weeks, I've been encountering difficulties getting my stream online reliably - the stream started going offline intermittently and coming online again with incredible stream delay, before refusing to come back online at all. Today, the stream failed entirely to start, telling me that it had failed to connect to server.

My VPNs are working, as I can access Youtube and Facebook. I am wondering if anyone else has faced a similar problem streaming to Twitch from China using OBS, and if there is a solution. Screenshots here: http://imgur.com/a/ebduk

Hi,

If you cant connect at all to the HK then this is more permanent, can you ping the ingress HK server or have you changed your twitch stream key and OBS needs updating?

another thing to try is run the twitch bandwidth tool and check the asia region on the top, then review the results it will show if you are having some issues streaming to HK.
