Bug Report failed to connect to server or OBS crash

Using MAC OS X 10.12.6 Sierra for many months fine. Streaming to Facebook. Restarted machine. It either can't connect to server or will crash. I tried switching advanced > bind to IP to Mac ethernet IP address but it will crash when I start steam. If I move to default it says fail to connect. OBS 20.1.0

searched around and no obvious fix here

Mine did the same thing. I was thinking it might be needing an update to the mac os but that didnt work,
