You need to understand the difference between Facebook's Scheduled Live events and other (ad hoc/impromptu)
And then you need to understand the difference between using a browser and native device camera directly, vs using software like OBS
None of which has anything to do with OBS
I always use FB's Scheduled Video so there is a consistent URL and non-FB users can watch. FB's Go Live routine for Scheduled events has changed recently (annoyingly, without notice, and in a relatively non-intuitive manner unlike the prior approach... but I digress)
Sounds like your are hitting Go Live in Browser on FB site (Live Producer?) and you have your setup wrong. either you aren't streaming from OBS with correct settings including stream key, OR you have directed FB to directly use your camera (and don't realize you've done that?)
Have your read Facebook's article on how to stream using Software (including OBS)? and done ALL of the pre-requisite steps?
