Question / Help Facebook Live stream delay

I have started to do a weekly Facebook Live broadcast and have run into a weird problem.

I set up my stream and schedule to go live a couple hours in advance while I work on slides for my broadcast. My first slide has a countdown timer that is set up so the live stream should start with 1:30 showing on the timer, at which time my intro music also starts.

However, even though the timing is precise, once the Facebook Live session starts, the stream is about 2 minutes lagged and the timer shows something like 3:30. This results in two minutes of silence before the music and broadcast begin.

The same problem happens on the other end. I have to continue the stream for about 2-3 minutes after I wrap up what I am saying before I click 'end stream', or the final couple minutes simply aren't broadcast.

For an example of what I am talking about, see these two videos:
- First time it happened when I was unprepared for it: https://www.facebook.com/fingerlakesweather/videos/1332891200099524/
- Second time, when I was prepared: https://www.facebook.com/fingerlakesweather/videos/1339490626106248/

I would love to get rid of this delay so my broadcasts actually start and end when I am telling them to.

I've uploaded the logs from these two sessions as well.
