Question / Help Facebook Live Stream Connecting - Staying Offline

I've read through a number of tutorials, watched tutorial videos, and tweaked any number of settings to get my Facebook Live stream to say anything other than "OFFLINE", but there's no joy to be had.

Here's the FB Live interface giving me the finger:

I've attached the OBS log showing no errors on connection.

Anything else for me to try?

Yes, been there, done that - over and over again, double checking everything. Still no go.

I have the exact same problem, did you figure out what the problem was? No errors, logs says successful connected to FB, but I am "Offline".

And to @SoWhoYou, I have a page with 70k+ likes that I want to reach :)

Hi Jens,

It's still behaving the same way for me. I found another streaming solution called "XSplit Broadcaster". The free version was able to stream what I needed, but does it in a different way.

You log in to FB from within XSplit (OAuth) and they take it from there. So when you turn on the broadcast in XSplit, you're immediately streaming to your page. Down side to that (for me) was not being able to set video title and status comment until after the stream was done and I could edit the video in FB.

A little bit of a learning curve but its worth a try.

It worked great if I logged in to Facebook on another computer than the one running OBS Studio, strange behavior.

Interesting. I tried that but the 2nd "Facebook" computer would still say OFFLINE. I didn't completely log out of the first computer, so that may be a factor.

Maybe it is a network thing, because my "2nd" Facebook was on a completely different network, my OBS server is on location in a server rack, and my "2nd" Facebook is just my ordinary connection.
