I am streaming Facebook Live using a Cannon HD camera, Avercapture HD capture device, and a iMac i7 running OSX 10.11. I have finally figured everything out to get it to stream but I’m not real happy with the end result video. For some reason if I don’t lower my video bitrate to 800 the FPS will not stay at 30. If you raise the bitrate to the recommend 2500 the FPS goes to 2 or 3. I am also using 720p. Any ideas on what I might do differently?

What exactly does that do for you? I’m new to this and not really sure what you are referring to. Thanks for the reply.

It shows all your video settings and encoder settings, and if you upload a log after a streaming session, it includes performance data-- lagged frames, dropped frames, etc. It is almost impossible to give any useful advice on a problem with OBS without looking at one, because the same problems can have different causes and depending on conditions, the same situations can cause different problems.
