Question / Help Facebook Live audio delay

Hi,

I broadcast to Facebook live the other day no problem, for 90mins, but today when I tried it, the audio is slightly out of sync with the video.
Any ideas on why this is and how to solve it?

I've played with all sorts of settings in OBS but nothing seems to get it tight in sync.

I'm running mac OS X 10.11.5 with a logo tech c920 cam via USB. MacBook Pro late 2011, very fast broadband connection.
Audio is coming out of a DJ mixer and going into the input port on the MacBook Pro.

Thanks

Now I am not an OBS whiz, but I can say from my broadcast background that its best to have your audio going as direct as possible into OBS rather than patching it through different devices (or as few as possible). Sometimes when you route a signal through a number of devices, it could be one of those devices causing the audio delay and not so much OBS. Try going as direct as possible whenever possible. The shortest/most direct path is the best path - also avoid using long cords, the shorter the better. Long cords can degrade signal strength and cause audio issues. If you can, don't daisy chain multiple short cords/cables either. You could have a bad connection or a faulty cable that can cause issues. Get ONE good quality cable that's long enough to meet your needs. Cheap cables cause more headaches than you could ever imagine. Hopefully these suggestions may help.

Cheers from Canada,
