Ahoy
Quick question. Hopefully a simple one.
Im going to live stream an event this weekend and would prefer to do it via the event page on FB directly. However, even though every guide and forum post I've been able to find suggests that 1280x720 is the maximum resolution, I'm only able to select 480p when watching the stream.
Streaming to Youtube works with 720p (even 1080p is detected, but its a bit choppy) so the output from OBS should be fine right? Ive tried using x264 and both the h264 options for encoder to no avail. I should mention that after the stream ends, the video is actually possible to view in 720p.
Ive only seen a few actual HD streams on Facebook so Im starting to wonder if theres some kind of "partner" equivalent.
TLDR: Is it actually possible to stream with higher resolution than 480p on Facebook without some sort of partnership?
