Question / Help Extremely High CPU Usage

Hello, this is my first time here and I've searched the support pages for my issue and came up empty so I'm creating this topic in hopes to solve my issue.

Over the past few days when I'd open OBS Studio to start streaming, it'd already jump up to 44% CPU usage (as denoted at the bottom of the OBS Studio Window).

I can think of nothing that has happened to have caused this because I haven't had any Windows updates nor have I changed any settings on my Computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Computer Specs and Information
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
CPU: AMD A8-7600 Quad-Core Processor

If any more information is necessary I will be more than happy to provide it.

Maybe you have some browser sources, that cause problems.
You could try to create a new scene collection where you only add one scene with Game Capture + Webcam as sources.

Thank you so much Morpheus. Something in my scenes that I have set up is causing my issue. I dunno where it is in the scenes though but when I created a new Scene Collection my CPU usage immediately dropped to below 10% again.

Glad to hear that. So maybe just try to add the other sources one after the other, until you can pin point the one that causes high cpu load.

Found the problem. My Elgato capture card (HD60) is causing the CPU usage. Currently searching the web for a fix. Thanks for giving me the thought to create a new scene collection to try and find my issue Morpheus. Greatly appreciated.
