Question / Help extreme recording fps in videos? 500-1000fps? (workaround)

So I am having this weird problem with either OBS itself or the new amd media encoder plugin by xaymar (version 2.0).

I have no problems whatsover while streaming or recording. But when I replay my recordered video as a source in obs, the audio starts glitching, skipping, crackling. The video quality itself is just fine.
After like 3 days of testing I managed to narrow done the problem, being extreme fps numbers in my recorded videos. Windows properties says its 1000fps but when I load the video into a video editing software it "only" shows like 500fps.
The strange thing is I can replay these videos just fine in VLC. Only OBS is acting all strange when playing these videos.

The codec I am using is H265/HEVC. Ofc I tried limiting fps in videosettings.
But it does not matter if I use 25, 30 or 60 fps, the video output always ends up being that crazy high.
I did i clean reinstall. Deleted all options incase I messed something up. But even with the default H265 settings I'am getin screwed again.

Any ideas guys? I dont really want to rerender every video in another software.
I even tried that and it didn't not change the fps at all.

It definatly is an OBS issue.
Which may be a result of a smaller recording problem with the AMD advanced mediaframework plugin.
But... I think I kinda fixed it. Not really though. It's more of a workaround.
I have to admit that I am recording at pretty high quality settings/bitrates. Which is fine aslong I dont play the video through OBS. Like I mentioned VLC just plays every video without any issue.

So I did check the log files and noticed that it stated: couldnt find VLC plugin, no VLC installed.
Which is weird because I had it installed. So this had to be the issue, right?
Some missing .dll file or something. I noticed I only had 32bit version of VLC.
Since im running Win10 64bit, I thought lets try installing 64bit of VLC.
I did. But it didn't made a difference after adding the video as normal mediasource.

However I also noticed that I'm now able to add a VLC mediasource now. (thanks to the 64bit VLC).
Guess what. Video plays just fine now. So for anyone having similar issues, try installing the
VideoLan media player which suits your OS bit-version.

The default mediaplayer in OBS seems to be faulty/unstable!
Atleast for certain video recordings. Anyway...always use the VLC mediasource if you can!

Someone might want to move this to the bug tracking section, idk. Because It kinda is a OBS bug.
