External sound not being picked up

Hi , i have been having problems with the sound coming into the OBS software.

I have tried using
1. A digital mixer
2.Live streaming with an Android device

In both cases , OBS fails to pick up the sound coming in.

The indicator only pics up the laptop mic.

We tried installing obs into 4 different computers and laptops

-Mac book Pro
-Lenono
-Acer laptop
-Dell computer

All of them have the System requirements, but the sound from the Mackie DL32S digital mixer in not being recognised.

Please help.

"check If OBS has permission, go to Windows Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure OBS has permission."

Hi, yes OBS has permission but it is still not being picked up.
