Bug Report External camera with OBS

Hello,Everyone,


I have a external camera connect to PC, but when I use OBS MultiPlatform 0.7.3 , I cannt get video and audio either.

This is the compare result between obs and AV/C:


Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2 => Video (OK) , Audio (OK)

OBS 0.651 => Video (OK) , Audio (Failed)

OBS MultiPlatform 0.7.3 => Video (Failed) , Audio (Failed)


Anybody know why? Thanks!

What external camera specifically?

Also, you should probably update to the latest release, 0.9.1 (at the time of this writing).

Thank you for your reply!
I have used 0.9.1 in Win7 32bit. it has the same problem.

Woops,OBS has crashed!

That crash I think should be fixed in 0.10.0 -- at least I think that's the one I encountered.

I have a good news.
Somebody told me that AverMedia works well in my software based on obs, I bought one, yes , it's true !
The usb card is "AverMedia DVD EZMaker7" , now both video and audio work well in 0.7.3 and 0.9.1.
