Genki informs me by a mail that iPadOS 17 will have extended USB-C support and they ShadowCast Hardware will be supported in the future. That means USB-C Capture Cards could be work on iPadOS 17 and that means a real OBS App for iPad could be real.
Any Infos about that?
iOS and iPadOS are still too restrictive for something like OBS to be ported directly. It would have to be rewritten from the ground-up as an mobile app which we do not have the resources or interest to do.
