Expand system requirements, with examples (documentation)

The system requirements section on the website could be more helpful.

OBS Studio requires the following hardware and operating systems to function. Having a compatible system does not guarantee that it is capable of streaming or recording using OBS. The CPU requirements vary considerably depending on the chosen encoder, resolution, FPS and your scene complexity. Try the Tools -> Auto Configuration Wizard in OBS itself to find appropriate settings for your specs.

If I'm reading this right, it means that the system requirements listed on the page, are the minimum requirements to get OBS studio to open correctly. But they're no guarantee that the program will be able to keep up with the video processing task that you give it. That would depend on the settings you choose, and on the specs for your hardware.

The last bit suggests that you can use the wizard, to find the best settings for your existing hardware, and that's great, but it assumes you already have existing hardware. In my case, I'm looking to buy new hardware, and I was looking for guidance on what sort of hardware specs i need, in order to meet a minimum quality of video output.

I think this section could be a lot more useful if it gave a few examples. Three would probably be enough. You could have the specs for a cheap laptop, and an example of the sort of task it could handle. Then the same for a moderate modern PC, and for a top of the range power-hungry video processing PC.

That's what I was looking for when I checked "system requirements", and I think it could be very useful for new users like me.
