Question / Help Exclude a source from recording in OBS MP?

I am pretty new to OBS MP and was wondering if there was a way to exclude a source from a recording but have it on stream? I am wanting to do normal live streams to twitch, and record higher quality videos for youtube. On the live stream I want to have an overlay but I don't want to have it on the recording. The overlay is to advertise my youtube channel, but I don't really want it to show up on the recording (since that will already be going onto youtube). Hopefully I am explaining myself well enough that I can get some replies. I did search around the forums a little, and found something that seemed similar but it was for audio sources. I would really appreciate any help or replies. I will gladly elaborate if needed. Thank you.

It's currently not possible, but it's on the list of things they'd like to do. For the moment their focus is on reaching feature parity with OBS Classic. After that they'll start adding stuff..
