Question / Help Exact information required for streaming

No matter what settings/setup I use in OBS on either settings (NVENC H 264, and x264) the stream looks like crap, and what I should have a good quality for the settings I use, it isn't. I literally have not seen any difference in stream quality from my original using a 5MBS upload speed 2 days ago, and my current upload speed which is 40MBS.
I'm starting to seriously doubt that a good picture can even be done while Streaming using OBS. A 35 MBS jump in upload speed from 5mbs should have a major quality upgrade and it doesn't.

What settings in OBS for both NVENC H 264, and x264 are needed for youtubegaming/twitch/restream.io on the following computer and internet set up:

Stream Services used in tests separately: Youtubegaming, Twitch.TV, and Multi-streaming Restream.io

DOWNLOAD SPEED: about 600-900
UPLOAD SPEED: about 40-45 MBS
LATENCY: 10ms (This was on the speed test so I included it here)
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7 6700 @3.4ghz (Not a 6700k)
RAM: 16GB GDD4
SINGLE GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070
Motherboard: Z170m-Plus
SINGLE MONITOR: ACER 27" 1920x1080 60ghz (30fps)

Again, any setting I used either makes the stream look like crap, or causes it to stutter very badly.

Thanks for any "REAL" and true working information

Again, please post the log, that gives a lot more info about what's going wrong (since you mentioned stuttering).
And also, just the fact that your upload speed increases, doesn't make the quality in OBS go higher if you don't adjust the bitrate.

Not going to go back and forth with this. Everything needed to know is listed above. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that someone cannot take the information I listed above, and show a set up that should work. A log report isn't needed for someone to give an example of what to use.
You wont get an answer, also your "so informative" first post doesnt even include the Bitrate that you were using. If you use a 3000 Bitrate on 5Mbit Upload or on 10000000000000000000Mbit Upload wont affect Quality at all.

So if you want any help with your issue you better do what the Moderators of this Forum ask you for.

OK this is the 3rd time now you've caused me to repeat myself and it's getting beyond irritating now.

First of all your comment about the bitrate is absolutely ridiculous because the very first statement I posted in this topic was: "No matter what settings/setup I use in OBS on either settings (NVENC H 264, and x264) the stream looks like crap," BIT RATE IS CLEARLY PART OF THAT...That is blatantly obvious.

Secondly:
The question is very simple, Going by and using all the information listed above, what settings should/would OBS be set to to get a good stream quality.

SO NO, I AM NOT POSTING A LOG FILE BECAUSE IT HAS NO RELEVANCE TO MY QUESTION. A log file isn't required to show a set up in OBS in accordance to the information I listed above. and say here is how a good stream SHOULD be set up using OBS and that system and internet speed.

Now, if I use a suggested set up someone says to try, and it doesn't work, THEN I CAN SEE ASKING FOR A LOG FILE.

Now I'm done replying to this silliness about.

I want to see ALL of your settings (the logfile provides that), for example, resolution/fps has a big influence on what bitrate to use to get a certain quality.
1080p 60fps is crap on Twitch for example because they have a limit of 6000kbps, so you would need to lower either fps or resolution (this also depends on the kind of content you stream).
Youtube reencodes everything so there is also a quality cap there, although higher then on Twitch.
And since you also mentioned stuttering, that is something I definitely need to see a logfile for.

100% FALSE I actually did, apparently no one here has any reading comprehension because the very first thing I said in the topic title did have that information:
No matter what settings/setup I use in OBS on either settings (NVENC H 264, and x264) the stream looks like crap,

And instead of seeing that WOULD INCLUDE WHAT BITRATE I USED because it very clearly states I Went through everyone possible for each change I made in the settings.

I want to see ALL of your settings (for example, resolution/fps) that you currently use, so I can recommend what to change, a logfile provides that information. But if you are unwilling to do that then good luck.
Ok now you're just annoying the piss out of me on purpose and I'm chalking you up as a really bad trolI, I have very politely and very clearly asked for an example set up 4 times now, and no one bothers to answer it. Instead they bring up something that isn't required to answer my question

HOW FUCKING HARD IS IT FOR ANYONE HERE TO SIMPLY SAY
With that system set up here is what a NVENC H 264 should be set up as with those settings.
AND
With that system set up here is what a x264 should be set up as.

WTF!

You should probably read my edited post.
There is no way to tell you that, quality depends on more things then just your specs.Resolution, fps, what content you stream (hearthstone needs different settings to get good quality then a fast-paced shooter), which streaming service you use determines the max. bitrate (which directly affects quality). There are no "best settings", it's a compromise, especially when streaming.

The general rule for Twitch is, don't stream at 1080p 60fps, use 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps max, and bitrate can't be higher then 6000kbps.

As I said a really informative statement, also completely useless. I promise you, if you wont provide any actual information which is btw only a couple clicks compared to multiple key strokes then no one can help you.

If you want Settings sure. 1080p60 50k Bitrate should be sufficient for NVENC and x264 everythingelse you apparently have figured out yourself anyway.

Actually, without the log file, it's VERY HARD for someone to just tell you "use this and that and your stream will be fine". Your comments are not only rude but also show your lack of knowledge about streaming altogether. Your log file shows EVERY SINGLE BIT of information from when you open OBS to when you close it down, incuding errors, source material you're using, frame rates, memory leaks etc etc. If you think streaming is like "I got this CPU and that GPU, tell me what settings work" you're oh so mistaken.

So, once again, if you actually WANT to get help, quit your yapping and post your freaking log files.

...Except you KNOW that you messed up with OBS and you don't WANT us to look at your log files and laugh at what you did! ^_^

P.S. In case of Twitch, unless you're a Partnered member of twitch, you can only stream there with a limited bandwidth (I believe it's 6000 bitrate for Affiliate members), so no matter if you use 10000 bitrate or 30000 bitrate, twitch will only recieve 6000 of those bits, the rest are scrapped. Just leaving this here.

You've all been told at least 4 times what bitrate I used, not too mention it's the very first thing I said in this topic. On top of that I asked for an example set up in OBS for a system with those specs. and instead of getting a "Here is how OBS would/could be set up with that system".

Instead, people are focused on the "WE NEED YOUR (My) LOG FILE before you can relay a generic setup, then saying you need my log file for that..That is the exact same thing as someone asking if you wanted to go to a BBQ, and you reply with, "You need to go to the bank to withdraw $10 before we can answer yes or no"

It's so blatantly obvious that no one here intended to help (The 4th reply in this topic proves that) and that this forum is obviously for purposes of attempting to provoke people into problems.

As i have said there is no such thing as "best settings", I gave you a guideline for Twitch, which should be fine as a baseline, but after that it's basically trial and error. Any problems during this trial and error require a logfile to see what the settings used are and what kind of problems occured.
In the case of Youtube you can go 1080p 60fps, you can increase the bitrate a lot higher on there, probably to like 20 mbps, any higher is pointless since Youtube always reencodes the video to a specific bitrate.

The difference between NVENC and x264 is only that the former needs a higher bitrate to achieve the same quality as x264.

The 4th reply is your very own btw.

Since you do your very best to not get any help I would just recommend leaving this forum until you know how to behave and then consider what you did wrong and realise that not everyone in the outside world tries to murder you when they need some sort of information.

So far sayonara.
