So I have been streaming with OBS for quite a while now. My PC has never been the greatest but it certainly could handle the streams and I never had major problems with it. By the end of last year, I stopped streaming for about a month and a half for various reasons and the only thing that changed since then is that I got a 1080p monitor (I had a 900p one). Then I tried to stream PUBG some days ago to see if my PC would handle it, and while the game ran somewhat fine, the OBS preview ran at a slightly lower framerate, and people said it was freezing for like a couple of seconds at a time I thought it was weird but PUBG is a heavy game so I thought nothing of it. Then today I wanted to stream some Katamari on PCSX2 (an emulator that I have used in my streams a lot in the past and always ran perfectly) and people said it was lagging the same way it did with PUBG, so I paid attention to the preview and it was stuttering just a little (just like with PUBG) but it was barely noticeable.
(also the stream dropped about 233 frames and I don't know if that's visible through the log, but during that PUBG one it dropped even less, like 16 or something)
tl;dr: always streamed fine but after a month it started to freeze the stream for seconds while the preview has some very light stuttering and the game runs just fine. Is it something with OBS? My PC? My internet? Twitch? Thanks for any help.
