Facebook live - learn difference with Scheduled Live videos, and option then for non FB users to watch as well. If using Scheduled pay attention to details (Big bold warning about starting stream ahead of scheduled time)
As for OBS, start simple, test a lot, and expand as you get comfortable. The guides on this site should be a starting point. But there are completely different OBS use cases (gaming, vs HoW, vs educational, etc) and those use cases means utilizing different feature sets, so some things may not apply to you
