Upon trying to open the application, it says "Failed to initialize video. Your GPU may not be supported, or your graphics drivers may need to be updated." What do I do from here?

Update your GPU drivers and perform a clean install. There's also the possibility that your GPU does not meet minimum hardware specs if it is an older one; DirectX 10.1 hardware features are required (it's both a hardware spec AND a software package, downloading the latest DX software package will not update the hardware). What kind of GPU is in your computer?
